The Waterfall is a part of The Riverwalk District located within walking distance to some of the finest restaurants, bars and taverns, entertainment, lodging, even a kayak whitewater park – all in a safe, fun, friendly
area, because it’s at the the center of everything that is Reno. Steps away from the casinos and some of the areas most iconic structures The Waterfall is a convenience to those looking to enjoy a local experience with a fun and friendly staff.
Inspired by the waterfalls of the Sierras and Ruby Mountains, The Waterfall claims its name. Nevada has 24 total waterfalls; therefore we thought it would only be fit to have 24 beers on draft. None of the waterfalls, which occur within the state, are found along streams that have aboveground outlets to the ocean. Nevada is also the driest state in the United States! To have waterfalls that percolate underground is so rare with the climate type, The Waterfall thought they would model themselves after this unique concept and be a one of a kind bar in Reno.
The Waterfall is home to many events,
but the Reno Beer Crawl (RBC) is a special one for us. In 2008 The Waterfall partnered with Amendment 21 to create the unique event and now The RBC has evolved into one of the most popular monthly events downtown. Each month the RBC begins and ends at The Waterfall, which is only appropriate. The RBC takes place from 2-6 p.m. the fourth Saturday of every month. It’s a day for friends to celebrate in Reno together by sharing a beer.
The Waterfall maintains a zero-tolerance policy against serving alcohol to minors. This stance is strictly enforced with ID card scanners at the door. Belligerent and offensive activity is prohibited.
